Some projects are relatively small. Perhaps simply a garden bed. Others call for large scale responses to remedy significant problems. In Sherman, Connecticut, we recently cleared acres of woody invasives while creating a wetland ecosystem with a network of swales and culvert pipes. We’ve introduced a diverse plant palette which attracts pollinators in different seasons. Every property has its own objectives but, routinely, we clear away invasives and establish communities of native species. We enjoy collaborating with our clients, practicing ecological horticulture.
